As soon as we set off, the peaks seem close enough to touch: we are right in the middle of it all, alpine landscape as far as the eye can see. On 250 km of well-signposted hiking trails, we collect distant views over the valleys and peaks in Samnaun and the Silvretta, as well as insights into the strikingly rich flora with over 900 plant species.

Discover endless trails

Discover the natural trails in the mountain landscape of Samnaun by mountain bike or e-bike. The double-decker cable car takes you comfortably up the mountain to the starting point of numerous and varied bike tours. On Alp Trida, mountain bike legend Claudio Caluori has created the "Freeride Trail" and the "Enduro Trail". The Graubünden downhiller's signature is transferred to our heartbeat with every bend, with every ride.

Building trails with the precision of a jeweller

Having grown up in the Bernese Oberland, trained chemist Daniela found her personal happiness in Samnaun. In order to realise her dreams, the proactive wife and young mother not only lends a hand in her own business and her husband's ski school, but also gets her hands dirty on the building site.

A summer on the alp with the Lantschner family

Milk from the pipeline

What makes Samnaun famous is the long winter and the large ski arena. But there are also a few surprises in store for guests in summer. Anyone who knows Alp Bella from winter will know that it serves the best roast chicken in the region. In summer, it is a catered alp. So when Samnaun puts on its summer finery, the long working days begin for Marco and Monika Lantschner. From June to September, the mother and son team spend their time on the alp.
