The mountaineering bus takes you up to Matsch. An idyllic Waalweg leads into the beautiful Matschertal. While the path through the larch forest is easy in the first part of the day, the last two kilometers of this stage are tough. The path winds its way up to the Oberetteshütte in serpentines.
