Beschreibung

The path leads from the freight road in the God d'Arduond area as a rarely used branch route into the otherwise inaccessible Val Tantermozza. A pair of bearded vultures has been breeding in this valley for a long time, which can be observed with a little luck. In addition to ungulates, mountain lizards, vipers and grass frogs can occasionally be spotted on the hike. In addition, the golden eagle often circles over the valley. In addition, the lady's slipper blooms in June at the park boundary.

Note: Dogs are not allowed in the Swiss National Park, not even on a leash. For more information and all protections, see nationalpark.ch/schutzbestimmungen.

Wegbeschreibung

From Zernez train station (1474 m above.M sea level) on an easy walk in the direction of God Carolina / Cinuos-chel. After a good hour, before the goods road crosses the Ova da Tantermozza, a mountain path branches off at the turning point in the God d'Arduond (1625 m above sea.M level) in the direction of Val Tantermozza. After a short ascent into the valley, the path leads through various, sometimes very dry forest areas and past a large rubble heap. After the park boundary, more humid forest areas with impressive giant trees follow. The trail ends at Chamanna Tantermozza (1771 m above sea.M level), with a beautiful view of the wild valley bordered by the chain of Piz Tantermozza – Piz Quattervals – Piz Cotschen and Piz d'Esan. Then take the same path back to the starting point.
