If you want to rest your legs, take the cable car from Samnaun to Viderjoch. Cross the Austrian border to the Heidelberger hut, then return to the Val Sinestra in Graubünden over the Fimber Pass. The final section reaches the day’s destination of Scuol via the Engadin village of Sent.

To Scuol:
  • Take the Rhaetian Railway (from Chur, Landquart/Prättigau or from the Upper Engadine) to Scuol-Tarasp.

To Samnaun:

Arrival information

To Scuol:
  • From the north: via Landquart - Klosters by car transport through the Vereina Tunnel (Selfranga - Sagliains) or via the Flüela Pass into the Lower Engadine on H27,

As far as Samnaun:

  • Then from Vinadi turn left towards Samnaun
  • From the east: via Landeck / Austria in the direction of Reschenpass on the B180, from Kajetansbrücke in the direction of Spiss - Samnaun on the L348
  • From the south: via Reschenpass to Kajetansbrücke, then towards Spiss - Samnaun on the L348

Parken

  • Free public car park at the valley station of the double-decker cable car, Samnaun-Ravaisch
  • Paid car park at the Scuol mountain railway, at the railway station or in the village
