Beschreibung

This trail starts in Samnaun village at Motnaida and leads towards Clis (Ravaisch) and then back to Samnaun village. Above Riva there is a small climb to the start.

Anfahrt

Öffentliche Verkehrsmittel

  • By train (from Chur, Landquart/Prättigau or from the Upper Engadine) hourly to Scuol-Tarasp station.
  • Continue by post bus to the post bus stop Samnaun Dorf at the post office. Above Riva approx. 10 min walk to the starting point Motnaida.

Arrival information

  • From the north: via Landquart - Klosters by car transport through the Vereina Tunnel (Selfranga - Sagliains) or via the Flüela Pass into the Lower Engadine on H27, from Vinadi turn left towards Samnaun.
  • From the east: via Landeck / Austria in the direction of Reschenpass on the B180, from Kajetansbrücke in the direction of Spiss - Samnaun on the L348
  • From the south: via Reschenpass to Kajetansbrücke, there direction Spiss - Samnaun on the L348

 Please note: If you are travelling to Samnaun, you will need a valid travel document (passport, ID), as you will pass through customs in Martina or Spissermühle.
